Boise State University will close its campus during the winter break, Dec. 23-Jan. 1, 2018. During that time period, facilities will lower the heat in most buildings to the “unoccupied” status, which is the same as on weekends.
To support the university’s sustainability initiatives, any employee who wishes to request heat in a building over break must submit a service request to facilities by close of business on Dec. 14. The request will require a justification, which will trigger a review. Depending on the nature of the need, the university may move work to another building that will already be open and heated over break.
If you or your staff would like to work in a heated building over break, fax a Facility Requisition Form including justification and signatures from the building coordinator and chair to (208) 426-1892 or by email to SVCREQS@boisestate.edu. As a reminder, requests must be received by close of business Dec. 14. The justification for the request may be included in the body of the email or fax cover sheet.
