The Regional Alcohol Drug Awareness Resource Center (RADAR) at Boise State University has hired Dan Arnold to take over the role as director. On July 1, Arnold will replace Teri Carrigan, who is retiring after seven years as acting director.

Arnold is a licensed professional counselor and a graduate of the Boise State counselor education program. He comes to RADAR with experience in addictions treatment and education, having both taught foundations of chemical dependency at Boise State and worked in the community as an addictions counselor.

Arnold has a strong passion for the RADAR mission of providing resources for prevention and treatment of substance use disorders. Arnold also will bring his passion for education to RADAR by adding a training and consultation component to the RADAR repertoire of services.
